Small townhouse backyard needed a clean face-lift…

Extensive home renovation destroyed the old garden…we have re-established an easy-to-care-for retreat for the owners.

We installed a bluestone walkway to explore the entire and formerly neglected property. Lots of ornamental grasses and native plants were used in the design.

Front yard: low-maintenance garden. Back yard: high-maintenance lawn replaced by organic berry and vegetable farm.

Chafer-beetle ridden lawn was replaced with a low-maintenance garden. Fast growing and steppable groundcover filled in within a few months.

The owners of the newly renovated duplex were seeking a private and easy-to-maintain front garden with a small green space for their young child to roll around.

The old retaining wall and the hazardous brick path had to be replaced with a solid basalt dry-stack wall and a wide and welcoming bluestone walkway.

We transformed a sterile and boring back yard that was seldom used into an easy to care for oasis.

We replaced the European chafer beetle infested lawn with a natural, low maintenance garden.
